RE: [tlug] Making new boot image for RH cd...



I am using a Toshiba portege 3440ct....funny thing is, is that I am sure I
have gotten it to load the disc before (thats how I originally got RH on
it), for some reason it wont boot anymore though. its not the disc which is
at fault, and its not the computer either (well...it could be the bios as
other ppl have said the same to me about loading RH on a toshiba) but it
will boot other disc's...i.e windows disc's.

It looks as if my computer all of a sudden decided it didnt like linux
anymore...and wont let me load it.

really? I had/have 3 toshiba laptops and never have problems with them. 
can you tell me what model do you have?
Also, I don't think bios size has much to do with loading boot images. 
It ought to be independent of each other.
