Can someone tell me what I'm missing? I just want my wheel mouse to work like it used to in RH7, so I can scroll up and down in gnome-terminal, Mozilla and so on. I'm using RH7.1 with X version 4.0.3-5 and my config reads: >Section "InputDevice" > Identifier "Mouse0" > Driver "mouse" > Option "Protocol" "PS/2" > Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" > Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" > Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no" >EndSection and the output when starting X shows: (**) Option "Protocol" "PS/2" (**) Mouse0: Protocol: "PS/2" (**) Option "CorePointer" (**) Mouse0: Core Pointer (**) Option "Device" "/dev/psaux" (==) Mouse0: Buttons: 3 (**) Option "Emulate3Buttons" "no" (**) Option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5" (**) Mouse0: ZAxisMapping: buttons 4 and 5 (II) Keyboard "Keyboard0" handled by legacy driver (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Mouse0" (type: MOUSE) (II) Open APM successful Now, according to this the mouse whell should work already, no? Do I need to turn on some option in gnome? Or is it sawfish that needs to be tinkered with? I just recall it just worked right away in RH7 and now it doesn't do a thing when I touch the wheel. SVEN
