Earlier today (I think), I'd posted that a couple of friends had had no luck with the wheel on an MS intellimouse optical's working as a 3rd button. Today, deciding to start from scratch, I did a reinstall of RH 7.1J. Chose intellimouse rather than the default PS2 which I accepted last time. (And yes, I know I could have done the mouse without reinstalling--the mouse wasn't the reason for the reinstall). At any rate, the scroll wheel is working quite well as 3rd button. I don't know if my friends just had bad luck, or if they were using an older kernel and it's been fixed in 2.4, but regardless, thought I should rectify what turned out to be misinformation Thanks Scott Robbins
