Sorry to go offtopic again. http://biztech.nikkeibp.co.jp/wcs/show/leaf?CID=onair/biztech/gen/133246 They start accepting applications June 20th for this experimental service (to start late June). It is going to cost 2,280 yen a month (half the price of NTT) + 550 yen rental fee for the splitter/modem, and will have a max. speed of 8Mbps (not sure if 8Mbps is a higher level/more expensive service). First 1 million customers will have their installation fee (expected to cost 8,800 yen) waived. Stephen
