Paid software comes with a warranty. If the product fails to perform within the first 90 days, you can take the product back to the place you bought it. You won't get your money back, but you can hop on a train and go back where you bought it. You can't do that with free software, you know. Have you ever tried uploading your copy of Red Hat back to their ftp server?
