Problems with scp

Hi Folks

I am trying to use scp to copy a file .  The scp program appears to
work, but when I look for the file the file is not there.  If it is any
help, ssh connections to/from hawera and noosa work fine.  Anyone know
what might be going on?

ls: testfile: No such file or directory
[antony@example.com /tmp]$ scp -v antony@example.com:/tmp/testfile .
