From a security perspective, I think it's a Good Thing that they do this,
but a little note in the helpfile they thoughtfully include in /etc/mail
would be nice :-)

The sendmail.mc is in /etc/mail, but I like to live dangerously
and hack on sendmail.cf :-)

Switching to Exim is one of those things I always plan to do
in my Copious Spare Time.  We run it on our production mail
system and are really happy with it there.
