Hello, I am running SUSE 7.0PPC on an iMac very happily but would like to be able to integrate Japanese into it. So far, I have been able to use jserver/canna server/emacs/mule but cannot get kinput2 running. I think I have everything installed but typing kinput2 into the terminal as user or root, says that the display cannot be opened. I have been reading the PDF book by Craig (? - sorry I am not at my own computer right now) linked from the TLUG site which has been very helpful but cannot seem to get a fully integrated Japanese environment outside of emacs. I'm particularly keen to make mutt and vim Japanese capable. I have mutt 1.25i and have also tried installing jvim but uninstalled it as the installation broke vim and jvim. I also have kterm installed although have yet to see any Japanese in it. ANY advice on what I should have installed and where to go from here, would be appreciated. Joss Saga-ken
