RE: i815E and SiS630 video drivers

Umm... 815e isn't a video chipset. It is a MB chipset.  Are you sure that you don't have an intel 810 video chipset? If so then the new Xfree 4.0 supports it.

Subject: i815E and SiS630 video drivers

When will Linux fully cover the brand new chipsets of i815E and SiS630.  I'm using a motherboard with the chipset Intel 815E but (of course) my old Slackware doesn't have the video driver for it.  XFree86 doesn't show well.  Anyone, give me a tip of info.
