X lets change the screen resolution, using [Ctrl]+[Alt]+[+] Is is possible to change the number of available colors in the same way? For example, my video card supports 1024x768 32-bit, 1152x864 32-bit but doesn't have enough memory to support 1280x1024 with 32-bit colors. Is it possible for example to cycle to 1280x1024 16 or 8 bit in the same way (Ctrl+Alt+ +)? In that case, which modifications should I make to XF86Config? Thanks in advance Hector
