This is probably going to expand.  The word is 23 wards by the end of
the year.  You can check Metallic's availablility at their web site. 
They will tell you when it is available by your phone number.

Anybody catch the news that NTT is under investigation for allegedly
deliberately delaying the deployment of ADSL?  It was on Nikkei front
page on Tuesday.  Today Nikkei has news that the government is
considering some law that will be focused against monopolies like the
NTTs.
