There was a time when Red Hat was completely useless for ISDN. 
Things *have* changed quite a bit.  Although my own preference is for
SuSE 6.4 and Debian.

this is only introductory but this page has helped many people in
many countries.  You can also do a search on Dan Kegels ISDN page. 
That's at Caltech in California with mirrors in other countries.
