First try Scott Stone's suggestion and look whether there is an extra
...-devel package for Wnn6.

If it still doesn't work, I am afraid I can't help much, as I don't
have Wnn6 and can't test this.

I only used Wnn4 and Canna. In my experience both worked about equally
well. Both are good enough for my needs.

As Wnn6 is a newer version, it might be better, i.e. when converting
kana->kanji it might make the correct choice at first try more often
then Wnn4 or Canna35b2. But as I haven't tried it I don't know.

Maybe FreeWnn is also interesting:

but I have no idea how useful it is, I didn't yet try that either.
