Hello, I am setting up sendmail right now. I can make sendmail.cf but when I try sendmai doing such as sendmail -bt -d0 < /dev/null I get this message, short domain name.... . . . . ============================ ADDRESS TEST MODE (ruleset 3 NOT automatically invoked) Enter <ruleset> <address> and then i try # sendmail -v user(in our host) < /dev/null user ... connecting to pmlocal ... user ....Sent of course it should be sent cause I use procmail IN the host. but! whenever I try to do #sendmail -v user@example.com machine from any OUTSIDE machine, connection is not to be made. No connection. network is working with LAN. telnet, ftp all those work. I run sendmail -bd but it gets killed right away. Is writing sendmail.cf that complicated? Where am I wrong? I am using CF-3.7Wp12 on turbolinux. any ?
