[shift]-[space] in your kterm, then both Kinput2 and Canna should be
working. I think you need to start canna first (/etc/rc.d/init.d/canna
start (as root)) and then Kinput2 (kinput2 -canna (as yourself)).

Try looking in /usr/doc for some brief info, and "man kinput2".

I have had some difficulties in the past with these things, and found
that having the right version is important. Experimenting with
different RPM's usually solved it in the end. I was to lazy to find
out the _real_ problem, though...

Not for them to work. But you might find something like that usueful
for writing documents in Japanese. I use Xemacs with mule
support. Together with Canna it works fine, here.

Very good question, I happened to have a CDROM that I got from a
magazine, but I have been unable to find any download sight for this
version (RPM updates, etc.). Anybody knows?

(If you (anybody) want access to this CDROM, just email me.)

Hope this helps.
