I checked the list of packages, and I think it is a little more than just a few additional packages. Looks like KDE has been localized too (all kde packages have a i18n label). Might be better (at least, for me) than Redhat 6.1 nihongo, which doesn't include a japanized KDE environment (but japanese able GNOME is included, I guess). I'll give it a try!
