That's not true is it?  The hub is just a bit regenerator... so in
theory it should only delay a packet by a bit time or two.  You
won't notice 0.1 uS.

You can also get AUI to 10Base2 transceivers.  I bought a new one
from a computer surplus dealer at the show this weekend for Y500
to get the SPARC on my network.
