A sad commentary.  True.  Yes, but ...  No.

Sad.

I find Microsoft Windows XP to be absolutely, totally unusable for
getting real work done, even more so than a Red Hat GNOME setup.

And expanding on the final no, even when I was partially responsible
for the O/S at Turbolinux, I did not use the basic install unmodified.

Choice Is Good!  (writes the man who once maintained a household
with lots of slippers bought by his wife that were one-size-fits-all and
none of them fit me).
