The team at AIST and a company called Alpha Systems have funding to maintain it for another year or so, IIRC. 

Bit of a job to find the damn thing, though, buried under all that HTTP-FUSE stuff - which, admittedly is quite cool... It's quite tempting to put up a simple, easy-to-understand Japanese Knoppix page linking to the latest version, SEO it up and see if it can out-googlerank Suzaki-Sensei's LCAT Hybrid Boot-Accelerated Xen Clever Thing...
