Sony Trinitron Multiscan 17sf (17", CRT)

There is a problem with the cable that attaches to the PC;
unless one pins it down at a certain angle (or repairs
so that it works properly) the characters/images on the
screen will appear in some off-color (perhaps it is leaving
full-color mode?), or the monitor goes into sleep mode.
This is probably best suited for someone who knows what
they are doing and can safely fix that cable, or who plans
to use it only occasionally with an otherwise monitor-less
machine (I've been using it when reinstalling linux or
otherwise fiddling with a display-challenged laptop that I
use for a server).

Free for the taking to the first person who comes to pick
it up at my place in Shibuya, just off of Meiji doori (and
rather near Hiroo and Ebisu stations). Send email for
