I learned about it on the Great American History Quiz last night on The
History Channel.  A "hula burger" came out in 1962.  it was a *fried ring
of pineapple* on a bun, WITH CHEESE.  yuck!  I wonder if that one made it
to the Japanese McDonalds stores...?

who would want to copy it, I don't know.  I'm just glad that nobody did :)
