Heya Dudes and Dudettes...;-) I've been experimenting with Mandrake on my NEC VersaPro NX when I finally shouted (rather suttlely) EUREKA!!! I'm finally able to get full network access through my network (except DNS, I still have been able to figure this one out..;-( ) Anyway, my real problem is this... I still have to make a few more documentations...etc.. Until everything is done... And my problem is that I have to use Microsoft Word in my Windows 98... Now it seems to me that Windows 98 may place some proprietary code in the MBR of the FAT which allows it to "check" if it is really installed in the computer (or not other O.S.s use the Computer..UGH!) In short, I am unable to start my Windows Up again without having it reboot... Hope to hear from you guys soon 'Cause I won't be using this after friday... Many Thanks...;-) Cheers, John Clark P.S. Does anybody knw how to fix a problem with the way the Japanese Keyboard's DEL key would == BACKSPACE key??? ------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: December 17 (Fri), 20:00 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Technical Meeting: January 14 (Fri) 19:00 * Topic: "glibc - current status and future developments" * Guest Speaker: Ulrich Drepper (Cygnus Solutions) * Place: Oracle Japan HQ 12F Seminar Room (New Otani Garden Court) ------------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://www.tlug.gr.jp Sponsor: Global Online Japan
