tlug: Yudit 1.3 w/motif compile failure

I get the following failure when compiling Yudit 1.3 with motif:

Since the non-motif version builds OK, I suppose the -lXm argument that
is causing the failure is related specifically to motif.  The INSTALL
file with Yudit says it works with Lesstif (doesn't specify a version),
and my lesstif is lesstif-devel-0.86.5-2.  

Has anyone else had this problem/not had this problem when building
Yudit?  

Advice and/or pointers to relevant man pages appreciated.
