I'm trying to use RMAIL in emacs 20.3 for my Japanese mail, but when the RMAIL file gets saved, the messages get mangled and I can't read anything. Here's what I see now when I try to read already received mail: $(B:M$A$c$s!uCRF`$A$c$s!"$R$5$7$V$j!<!<!<!<!<!*!*! and my /var/spool/mail file is wiped out as well. Can anyone tell me what's going on, and how I can keep from losing all my mail again? Thanks. ______________________________________________________________________ Stuart Luppescu -=-=- University of Chicago ºÍʸ ¤ÈÃÒÆàÈþ¤ÎÉã(EUC) -=-=- s-luppescu@example.com http://www.consortium-chicago.org/people/sl/sl.html ICQ #21172047 AIM: psycho7070 You will be successful in your work. >> Sent on 09-Sep-99 at 11:28:06 with xfmail ------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: September 17 (Fri), 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 *** Linux 8th Birthday Anniversary! *** Next Technical Meeting: October 9 (Sat), 13:00 place: Temple Univ. *** Topics: 1) Linux i18n 2) Japanese TrueType fonts ------------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://www.tlug.gr.jp Sponsor: Global Online Japan
