tlug: Kernel upgrade

Following a reboot at about 19:30 JST 01 June 1999, hikari is now 
sporting the 2.2.9 kernel that Chris compiled and installed.

Everything seems to be working, but if you notice anything amiss, please
email tlug-admin@example.com and let us know about it.
