I re-edited this file. When I did more /proc/pci yesterday, it told me
the io was 0x1600, not 0x600. I have tried both values in conf.modules
however.

Tried this and got: /lib/modules/preferred/net/ne2k-pci.0: symbol for
parameter i not found.

(Same error with io=0x1600 and io=0x600 in conf.modules.)

Tried this anyway and got "Operation not supported by device." for
SIOCSFADDR, SIOCSFBROADADDR, and SIOCSFNETMASK.

Then tried just /sbin/ifconfig eth0 and got: eth0: unknown interface .
