It worked once I put the module to "/lib/modules/preferred/net". Thanks! :-) Also by swapping eth0 and eth1 in the conf.modules file, and changing the ethernet cable over, I'm able to use the other card (which is 100TX) as my main network card without having to alter any other settings.
