tlug: Loadlin & Japanese Win95 anyone?

Hello,

Has anybody successfully loaded a Linux kernel from a Japanese Win95 system?
I'm executing loadlin from the "safe" command line (IIRC it's option 7
after pressing F8). Loadlin loads kernel and initial ramdisk o.k. But when
the kernel is started, I just get a black screen.

I think the problem is due to the Japanese support, causing the display to
be in some graphics mode. I tried the -txmode option of loadlin, but it
doesn't switch into the original text mode of the BIOS. Probably because W95
has redirected the BIOS interrupt.

Any idea? (BTW: digital HiNote Ultra 2000, loadlin-1.6, linux-2.2.1)
