Yeah, makes sense.  I'm pretty sure XFree86's XDraw* and XDraw*16
functions are entry points to the same function which autodetects
8-bit vs 16-bit fonts.  So you probably don't need to rebuild
Noseguy.  The X fonts are encoded in JIS.  Straight JIS.  _Not_
ISO-2022 nantoka kantoka.  Strip the kanji-in and kanji-out sequences.
Viólą.
