I should be embarrassed and will thorougly flog myself with a wet noodle when I get one, but I'm totally spacing out a command here and need a memory refresher. I don't have a single Linux manual here at work anymore, so I can't even RTFM :-) One of my friends recently installed Windows 98 in the Windows partition of her machine, and of course it wiped out the MBR, leaving Linux stranded. I had her make a sysboot.img disk using rawrite, but I can't remember the command to tell the sysboot.img where to boot from. I know it will get the Linux boot partition as an argument, but I can't remember the command to tack that argument onto. Help! :-) Thanks, Jonathan ---------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 20 November, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Technical Meeting: 12 December, 12:30 HSBC Securities Office ---------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://tlug.linux.or.jp Sponsors: PHT, HSBC Securities
