Hello, I am using Linux RedHat on my server, and would like to mount its NFS exported file from a client machine. But everytime there is a RPC request time out on the client. I have an NFS server running on an NT machine working fine (the NFS server at least). I can mount exported files from my Linux client machine. But I would prefer to use the Linux server to do this. Here is what have. on the Linux server (toa) # /usr/sbin/rpcinfo -p toa program vers proto port 100000 2 tcp 111 rpcbind 100000 2 udp 111 rpcbind 100005 1 udp 635 mountd 100005 2 udp 635 mountd 100005 1 tcp 635 mountd 100005 2 tcp 635 mountd 100003 2 udp 2049 nfs 100003 2 tcp 2049 nfs # /usr/sbin/showmount -e toa Export list for toa: /usr/man (everyone) /home nami.toasia.co.jp >From the client machine # /usr/sbin/showmount --exports toa Export list for toa: /usr/man (everyone) /home nami.toasia.co.jp # mount toa:/usr/man /mnt/TEST rpc mount: RPC: Timed out Telneting the server is OK and there is no access limitation inside hosts.xxxx Can someone help me to understand or to check what is going wrong on my server, please.
