tlug: mem=size???

Hi,

According to some primer book, mem=size is necessary to be
typed after boot: prompt when we make Linux system with memory over
64MB in the beginning. Is this statement still valid??? Seems like
my system doesn't like mem=96M, and gives me other options. Weird.
Any help please?

Y.M.
