The latest exhaustive CubeNet surveys of European RIPE domains show Linux to be the most widely deployed with 26.3% of the Web servers, 33.9% of the FTP servers and 24.7% of the news servers.
Surveyed were 750,000+ Web servers, 165,000+ FTP servers, and 26,000+ news servers.

For some highly visible markets in Germany and Europe at least, Linux is kicking MS`s butt. Way to go, Karl Max Wagner! ;-)
