Yes, that worked! I've never touched jumpers before, but knowing it was
assigned SCSI ID 6, and a bit of binary allowed me to guess which of
them it might be.

I removed the "2" to make it SCSI ID 4, and Linux now boots smoothly
with the Zip drive plugged in.
