Re: tlug: Re: Deskjet 720C: what driver ?

Wow, Craig, please tell me more about this samba setup. I was thinking
about networking my OLD laptop and "printing" via samba to my Linux/W95
box.

1) What word processor soft do you use?
2) What type of documents can be produced?
3) Is there a way to samba to a win3.1 machine and then print to this type
of printer? Or, does it have to be a W95?
4) What can you tell me about your network situation?

If I can do this, then I can foresee DUMPING W95 altogether for Linux.

I currently use Publisher and Lotus Word Pro for most of my heavy printing
usages. Is there a similar level desk-top-publishing program? Maybe I
can use that Filtrix thingy Jonathan mentioned to move my W95 files to the
Linux side, fdisk my W95 partition, and wipe that M$ outta my mind :>, .
