Or you could just get the tarball from www.blackdown.org. 
They're doing a lot of Java-Linux porting there. I've downloaded the
tarballs a while ago and they worked like a breeze on my RH5.0 box.
Make sure you get the glibc version though. (if you're using RH5.x)
