I'm not sure about 2.1.  I read that in an interview with Linux, in which he
also stated that there would be great improvements in the future (which I
suppose means 2.1?).  The reference was apparently to the current kernel's
multi-processor support.

I'm sure that Linux will nail NT to the wall in this area, too :-)
