Good interview with Linus Torvalds in the July/Aug issue of Boot magazine.
It's the last issue of Boot before it reinvents itself as Maximum PC.

While Boot's literary level is adolescent geek/pc gamer, it has excellent hardware reviews and keeps one up on all the latest Intel offerings, motherboards, chips, that sort of thing.  Seems pretty free of "they advertise so we have to say nice things about them" mentality.
