it wants you to use an xemacs binary that's compiled to support an input
method, probably :)

Try the one from TurboLinux 2.0, it supports skk, Wnn4/Wnn6, and Canna.
(thanks in large part to Steve Turnbull for giving me the options needed
to build it with Canna support...)
