Yes.. I was about to make the same correction.. :D  Private Branch
eXchange...

I have heard that people have problems with them with analog modems...
the two most common errors I find are: 

1)  they are running a digital PBX with an analog modem (do you smell
something burning?)

2)  the AT command Xn is not set for blind dial... I usually set it to
X3 for most Hayes compatible modems...
