Does anybody know a source for some *short* documentation of Canna? The stuff that comes with it is all .tex stuff, and not in English, I'm fairly certain: the accompanying Japanese readme file says that you should use Jlatex to print it and that it's 200 pages. Seems a bit of overkill for my needs :-) All inquiring minds like mine want to know are the key bindings for Kinput2 and Canna. Craig's excellent info pages have the basic ones for Wnn and Kinput2, but I couldn't find anything for Canna. BTW, the link to UCSD's info on Canna is dead. Particularly, I want to know what key will fix the kanji and toss them to the client. The intelligent choice (just hit enter) seems to have been by-passed by the creators of Canna in favor of something obscure. I've pounded my keyboard trying all kinds of combinations in a vain search, too. Thanks to great input from all sides, I now have Kinput2 talking to Canna OK, now I just need to get it to keep my kanji after converting them (at least that does work off of the space bar) :-) Thanks, Jonathan --------------------------------------------------------------- Next TLUG Meeting: 11 April Sat, Tokyo Station Yaesu gate 12:30 Featuring Tague Griffith of Netscape i18n talking on source code --------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor: TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System www.twics.com info@example.com Tel:03-3351-5977 Fax:03-3353-6096
