* GLIBC locale support should work quite nicely --- IF you have the
  locale support files AND don't forget to run localedef (to compile the
  locale support files).

* XF86 offers a workaround (Xlocale). Unfortunately, it has to be specified
  at compile time. The XF86 default is "enabled" for libc5 and "disabled" for

  with kterm, kinput2 (XIM or kinput2 protocol), and Canna.
* I still have the SRPM and the corresponding RPMs lying around. Anyone

I still have one minor problem: The Japanese fonts XEmacs 20.4 displays when in
XIM mode (kinput2 -xim) are quite ugly. Does anyone know how to configure that
one?
