Hi, Last time I talked about Net Day issue, I might unintensionally have started politics. So this time I like merely to bring your attention to April issue of Linux Journal in which the author of the Cathedral and the Bazaar contributed the article called "Helping Netscape Make History". In the article, he explains open source concept and three kinds of business according to open source concept: 1)the Cygnus/RedHat/BSDI model. 2)the Netscape Model. 3)the Hardware store model. So following the article's argument, I might have said in my last Net Day comment that: 1) I prefer 1) model to 2) model. 2) Net Day thing can be 3) model. Though I was not sure of it then. But, I am sure right now. Regards, Kei. --------------------------------------------------------------- Next TLUG Meeting: 11 April Sat, Tokyo Station Yaesu gate 12:30 Featuring Tague Griffith of Netscape i18n talking on source code --------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor: TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System www.twics.com info@example.com Tel:03-3351-5977 Fax:03-3353-6096
