Jonathon,
be good to see you there.  You were a professional system admin for
a major ISP right?   I'm just trying to visualize the make up of
people and how to approach the install.   IMHO, it is a good goal
to get
    o  base Linux install using TurboLinux
    o  FTP daemon (not anonymous FTP), telnet daemon, 
    o  DNS, primary and send information to the secondary
    o  network interface, routing, 
    o  user accounts based on lists of people that came to the last
         few meetings and people that send e-mail in to apply for an
         account
    o  MTA, what's the default for TurboLinux, sendmail, smail, qmail?
	I would tend to vote for sendmail since it is used in a lot of
        commercial sites and therefore might be helpful for people
        to know about. 

Once we get that far, we can probably configure most of it remotely.

Sounds pretty exciting.
