For the folks who picked up one of the ELC/SLC boards, here's a repost of the power-connector information. ---------- | | | | -------------------------------------------------- | 9 8 7 6 5 | | GREY WHITE PURPLE YELLOW BROWN | | O O O O O | | LED GND +12V +5V +5V | | GND SENSE | | | | | | -5V | | SENSE GND -12V -5V +5V | | O O O O O | | ORANGE WHITE RED BROWN PURPLE | | 0 1 2 3 4 | -------------------------------------------------- **NOTE** Back view of PLUG (not socket). Information on the power supply which I'm using (I hope Steve Carter won't mind too much if I cut-and-paste from the email I sent to him earlier)... There's one shop in Akihabara which has a switched-mode power supply for 500-yen which is perfect for the job. I think the name of the shop is Akizuki and it's at:- http://www.impress.co.jp/akibamap/map/map_b2.html The gold-ish coloured box, almost dead centre of the map. It has an arrow marked "C Box". The power supply is about six inches long and an inch and a half in height and width. It has a nasty little eight pin connector at one end which you probably should remove (solder cables directly to the pads on the PCB instead). It comes complete with a mains cable and on/off switch (bargain!).
