I have no problem with them as long as you show me the yacc source
that generated them :-)

Seriously, what's the beef?  If it's the natural way to do things and
the compiler handles it efficiently, it's boring as hell (and if
there's substantial code executed by individual cases you might want
to arrange for it to be inlined---GCC will do that, even in C,
although it's not ANSI---if you can't encapsulate it in functions),
but I don't see anything wrong with it.
