Jonathan, Jonathan> Can a FAT-16 file system on a Windows 95 machine be Jonathan> mounted as an NFS by Linux? I'm also planning on Jonathan> migrating the Windows box to NT Workstation; can Linux Jonathan> mount an NTFS file system as NFS? What about FAT-32? The easiest way to do this for either Win95 or NT is to have linux on the machine in question, and mount the Win95 or NT partition on the linux partition. Then you can NFS mount the linux partition on any other unix box. This works well for system administration. NTFS is at this point "read-only", but you can read/write to VFAT or FAT-16. -Joe.
