tlug: Internet Connection and Help at the Meeting

craig> It would be nice to try an install at the meeting. Note that THERE
craig> IS NO INTERNET connection at the meeting place. So, if someone has
craig> the CDROM please bring it with a floppy of the fixed jeinst.
craig> If there is no cdrom, maybe we can get a dump of the archives
craig> to a hard disk. There is no MO at the meeting place.

The next meeting will have a direct ISDN internet connection, if we can
get it set up before the meeting. It will require a bit of wiring, but I
am planning to use a standalone system on the 4th floor and re-wire it to
the 5th floor without compromising the LAN. Also, there will be at least
2 spare SCSI CDROM's plus two networked machines with CDROMs available.
MO is a tough one, since we don't use them here, but there will be a Zip
disk hooked up to one of the Linux machines if people want to go that
route.

If anyone can spare the time, please come early and help set up. I will
be at Tokyo Station Yaesu Central exit in front of the ticket wickets
at 10:00 AM if helpers can come.
