tlug: palm pilot and telnet

I am using my palm pilot with telnet applications ...
TG TELNET
VT ONLINE

BOTH ARE REALLY cool you can set up macros that will handle the login and set
your terminal for the size of your pilot
i usually use this macros.

loginname \r
password \r
stty rows 15 cols 64

then you can run elm or pine .....screen is kind of messy but able to manage.....

i made an executable file chmod +x .pilot in my unix shell..............and
then in my pilot i just make a macro
source .pilot\r

and it will set up my terminal screen,,,,........(actually i got this info
from the autor of TG TELNET) ...............

Also you can run lynx .......but it will screw up your screen ........i use palm
scape (created by a japanese fellow)...is free and is a cool browser for the
pilot.........

TG postman is a cool mail program is free too.!!! you can even set up the option
to see headers...only ...and check for the size of the message before downloading
.......cool is you got an attachment file.....

VT online is cool too and support macros too ....... but crash my pilot 2
times........?????!!~~@@????

--------------only one downside : when you switch screen ....and you come
back to your telnt app..will not refresh the screen........-------------<<<<<<<

SEE YA ...IN THE NEXT MEETING OF TLUG...!................I have a short-nagai
..kana ----> trip to innaka japan...........i will go back to tokyo .....before
the tlug meeting
