		       Tokyo Linux Users Group

			   Saturday June 14

			 General Information
			 -------------------
TLUG was established in 1994 to discuss the Linux kernel, 
Free Software Foundation tools, and UNIX/Linux related technologies.
Membership in the user group is free and there are no qualifications
necessary.  Participation in any of the group's functions is free.
The group supports physical meetings, a mailing list, a home page,
a BBS, and an archive.  Meetings are traditionally casual and
fairly disorganized.  (Though the last meeting was amazingly
organized thanks to John Little and Andy Howell.)

The plan for June 14th is to meet at Tokyo Station Yaesu exit
at 12:30 and eat near the station.  People should be prepared
to pay for their own food.  We will then walk over to Joe
Marchak's office and try to install and demonstrate a few
things such as Red Hat Applixware Developer's version and
Caldera Open Linux.  There are a number of T-Shirts and 
CDs (thanks for Jim Schweizer) to distribute, probably 
by a raffle くじ system.

Feel free to bring any of the following: friends, computers, 
programs, documentation, questions, stuff to swap or sell, food
or drink, ideas.  Or just bring yourself.

Meeting Place:  Yaesu Central Exit (main floor)
                of Tokyo Station at 12:30 on Saturday?  

Lunch:          Lunch somewhere in the Mall (Subway's? Okonomiyaki?) then
                coffee at Starbucks.  If you are late, you can catch us at
                Starbucks (see ** on the map) until 1:30.
